Service
Real Composition helps vocalists turn heartfelt messages into lyrics, hooks, melodies, verses and song structures.
The service starts at $200 CAD per song and includes:

Up to two one-hour online writing sessions

Communication between sessions

One consolidated revision round

A final lyric document and agreed reference materials
Additional sessions or revision rounds are $75 CAD each. Extensive rewrites, vocal demos or work outside the original scope require a separate quote.
Payment and Timeline
The full $200 CAD payment must be received before the first writing session is scheduled. It covers the reserved session time and agreed songwriting work.
Payment becomes non-refundable once the first session or songwriting work begins. Additional charges must be approved and paid before the related work starts.
Projects normally take seven to 14 business days after payment, project information and availability are confirmed. Client delays pause the timeline.
Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide the song’s main message, supporting ideas, intended emotion, musical direction and any reference tracks. They must attend scheduled sessions and respond within agreed communication periods.
Clients must have permission to use every beat, lyric, melody, recording or other creative element they provide.
Revisions and Scheduling
Included feedback must be submitted as one consolidated revision request within five business days of receiving the draft. Major rewrites or a new creative direction may require a new quote.
At least 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule. A missed session or late cancellation may count as one included session.
Rights and Credits
Royalty Rights splits are as follows:

Underlying composition: 50% Real Composition / 50% artist

Songwriting royalties: 50% Real Composition / 50% artist

Master ownership: Not included in the co-songwriting split

Master revenue: Retained by the master owner

Songwriting credit: Both Real Composition and the artist

Service payment: Does not replace either writer’s ownership share
Creative Boundaries
We support music centred on resilience, reflection and forward movement. We do not accept projects promoting hate, personal attacks or gratuitous violence.
We do not guarantee streams, placements, commercial success, audience growth or income.
Communication
Sessions take place through Zoom by default. Approved alternatives include WhatsApp, Telegram or by telephone calls. Service is currently available in Canada and the United States.
