the Anime-Inspired Artist: Solmario.
Our Musical Story
Long ago, Solmario wrote his first verse when he was 13 years old. It reads resilient lyrics about those envious of him on the basketball court trying to manipulate him out of the picture. The following days after the verse, Solmario dominated with a basketball and his number one super power standing at a mere 5 feet: ball handling. No one could keep up or predict what he will do or where he will go. That historic verse expressed his resilience on paper to follow up by moving forward from his challenge. That verse was forever lost to nature, nowhere to be found.
Two years later, when Solmario was 15, he started writing lyrics as a hobby. After a long basketball session after school, Youtube beats had Solmario's attention as he developed his songwriting craft. Fast forward to 2018 with his first DAW, Solmario produced original music under his alias s2 Nati, followed by his inner beast Lil s2 unleashing havoc on the mic. Now, after finding his voice by mastering his song production abilities, Solmario has taken the stage without an alias, only him and the audience with a mic in between. Drawing inspiration from Anime, Solmario continues his musical journey as his true self, the complete Streetballer with both a fighter's heart and a cold heart. Whichever heart shows himself depends on the song, and the song depends on the chapter of his story.
And the mission of the tale is to bring everyone with him to express the same resilience he does.
